My Review

I have been working out and taking supplements since high school and Creatine has been the foundation for increasing workout intensity and muscle growth. I’ve tried everything from micronized Creatine, monohydrates, HCI and serums. So my review is based on how the latest Cell-Tech Creatine SX-7 Revolution has impacted my workout and progress.

First of all, this is one of the higher priced Creatine, and latest product in the market today. It has been formulated with different Creatine mixtures such as the Creatine HCL, Creatine Citrate, Peptides, and Monohydrate. You’re getting a robust combination of Creatine along with L-Leucine and other mix. To learn more about the ingredients, click here for more information.

There was no loading required – and after 4 weeks of being on the supplement, I have seen the following improvements in my workouts. My personal assessment was that I have been able to lift up to 15 lbs more and with 2-4 more reps, and it kept me in the gym longer. I have also gain more weight (2-5lbs per month) and look fuller. I did not have any issues with my stomach, like some supplements. Lastly, there’s bloating, my co-workers have commented that I look more bloated in the face the past few weeks. I’ve started to up my water intake to 1.5 gallons since and it’s helped.

My routine has been working out 4 times a week:

  • Monday: Chest and Arms
  • Tuesday: Back
  • Wednesday: Cardio
  • Thursday: Shoulders and Arms
  • Friday: Legs
  • Saturday: Cardio

Like all supplements, I drank at minimal a gallon of water and ate between 1.5 to 2 lbs of protein per body weight. It’s also beneficial to incorporate with a pre-workout. I’ve stacked this with the JYM Pre-JYM after 4 weeks of Creatine and there was a boost in my workout.

Final Thoughts

With this all being said, Creatine is no miracle solution. It’s more important you have a solid diet and training program. Supplements are just additives, the main ingredient is your heart, determination accompanied by a solid training program and diet!

Overall, I give this supplement a 5 out of 5 based on the results. It’s what you would expect from Creatine.

  1. New to creatine and have just bought the Cell Tech SX 7. I understand you need to take it either before or after you workout. But what if you’re not working out that day? Do you not take any? Should I take a scoop in the morning and at night? Is this the pre-loading that you mentioned? Thanks for any insight.

    1. Hi Bryan,

I don’t think you need to preload with the Cell Tech SX7. It’s a more advance formula. Creatine Monohydrate would require the preloading. Either way, it’s about water retention, so the more consistent you take it, obviously the results go with it. I personally did not load and worked out great for me! Hope this helps.
